4th - Boat Competition Heaviest Fish 1st /2nd /3rd prizes and raffle prizes To be held in Hartlepool for boat owners small, large, including charter. fishing 7.30am till 4.30 pm due to boats leaving marina at low water. All anglers willing to take place must register before the comp starts. (Tees & Hartlepool yacht club from 6.30am till 7am) (Friarage tackle and bait shop from 6am). The boats shall not leave until 7.30am with fishing to 4.30pm .Weigh in 4.30pm till 6pm at friarage tackle and bait shop. Entrance fee and payout The entrance fee is £10.00 per angler payable at registration prior to the start. 1st prize will be 45% (of entrant's fees) Total payout 90% (of entrants fee) The remaining 10% will be given in donation to the RNLI. 15th - Dover Admiralty Pier Charity Fishing Competition £15 ticket only, includes pier entry and buffet at Fishermans Friend kiosk. Dover Sea Angling Association/ABF The Soldiers Charity.  1. The competition will be fished off The Admiralty Pier, Dover which is under the jurisdiction of the DSAA and organised by the Kent ABF The Soldiers Charity for the purposes of a charity fishing competition, 2. All entries are by ticket only which are available from authorised outlets, For Military Personnel, Steve Lamb, Hon Sec Kent ABF, G1 HQ 2 (SE) Bde, Shorncliffe, HQ 1 RGR, Shorncliffe, Other outlets are, Clive at Bill's Bait, Dover, Julia Nichols at Fisherman's Friend Kiosk, The Admiralty Pier, Dover. Sandra or Vicky at The Royal Norfolk Hotel, Sandgate, Kent, The Plough, Brabourne, Lees, and DSAA Club House, Dover. Further details are given on posters. 3. Tickets allow entry to the pier to fish without charge subject to the terms and conditions of DSAA who operate the pier. Their Stewards will be on site and their decision is final on any matter connected with the pier. 4. A maximum of one rod is allowed with a total of no more than 3 hooks in accordance with the Angling Trust and the Dover SAA competition rules. 5. The competition will be based on the Biggest Fish Caught (weight) and the Most Fish Caught. In the event of a tie the condition of the fish will decide the winner. 6. All fish must be over the Angling Trust minimum size to count. 7. The pier opens at 0800hrs and the weigh in will be at 1500hrs. 8. All complaints must be put in writing and handed to the organisers who will be at the Fisherman's Friend Kiosk within 30 minutes of scales closing. 9. There will be no cancellation for inclement weather unless the DSAA close the pier. 10. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone, at any time and their decision is final.

18th - Weymouth Angling Club Boat Fishing Festival 18th, 19th and 20th from 9am each day with anglers due back in the clubhouse by 5pm. This is run on a points basis and full details for those wishing to take part are available from the headquarters in Commercial Road, Weymouth, 01305 785032.
